Antique "Round-Cornered Rectangular Brilliant" Diamond, Platinum Ring

A rare late 19^th Century diamond, weighing 3.12 cts., hand-cut in the shape of an elongated antique cushion, each side thoughtfully set with trefoil prongs, the handmade platinum mounting a lovely companion to this unique diamond, having a graceful scroll motif gallery set to a hand engraved shank accented by eight old European-cut diamonds.
