Art Deco Tiffany & Co. "Cut-Cornered Rectanglar Step-Cut" Diamond, Platinum Ring

An extraordinary and rare Art Deco ring with historical documentation, centering upon a “Cut-Cornered Rectangular Step Cut” diamond, also known as an Asscher-cut, weighing 4.77 cts., precise and linear hand faceting, very innovative in the 1920’s, create seemingly endless geometric reflections at every angle of the stone, equivalent in beauty and rarity are twelve French-cut diamonds set in finely millegrained borders, handmade in platinum, circa 1927, signed Tiffany & Co.
